You remind me so much of a younger Samantha Brown! The way you narrate and converse with locals and dig right into their customs and cultures and not all about finding the perfect beach shot. I love how much you teach in the videos, it’s great!

My husband's family is from Frankenmuth. Two of his sisters and their adult children still live there. The White House Boutique used to be a house...a long time ago that was built by my husband's grandfather...there are shelves and cabinets that are still in the boutique that "pops" built. My In-laws lived in part of the house when they were first married. The Frankenmuth Cheese Haus building was also built by "pops" and used to be his wood working shop.

What a wonderful & fun town. The USA is so great for the celebration of all the heritages. I was stationed in Bavaria when I was in the Army. I loved the food, the Bavarian culture & the beer. I traveled as much as possible. Enjoyed the video.

@@ChristineMeachum most important thing, how do you know where to park at night? do you chose a different spot every night? do you chose to stop in a residential area? or industrial area? or any area specific for people who live in their cars? in the USA it must be easy as its LEGAL to sleep in your car, in QLD australia its ILLEGAL to sleep in a car

You are a great story teller and your editing looks very professional. I've been to the festival a couple of times over the years but haven't seen most of what you showed here. Maybe I didn't stay long enough or just hung out around the food too much. I've never been to it at night and did not realize there were fireworks. Thanks for another wonderful video! My only problem is for some reason after I watch one of your videos, I feel like I want something to eat afterward.

I didn’t know so many people lived this way until I seen your first video now I keep getting lots of other car living videos. I’ve watched the most of yours (binged watched some last night) it’s so smart to time delay in posting where you are! As always be safe out there and please keep the adventures coming I can not currently travel this way (kids, pets, responsibilities) but if I could I SO would

i'm from michigan and i've lived in germany for 34 years. i can tell you, the food you get in frankenmuth pales in comparison to german food. it's strange because the spices and everything are available and easy to get. i've been to frankenmuth several times and i enjoyed it but it really isn't the same. this is not meant to be a negative comment just my view on the food and especially the beer. frankenmuth is a fantastic place to visit. like i said, i've been there several times. i would suggest you go if you have the chance. i'm looking forward to your next video.

I watched the video just now and I'm from Germany. I can definitely say that the food is different than here in Germany. I guess German food and the food made in Frankenmuth evolved in the years differenly. The hot dogs were funny for me. We're eating in Germany Hot Dogs with regular sausages like the ones in the US (I guess). Bratwurst can be ordered here with bread rolls to go

I also have a suggestion for another place for you to visit - Holmes County, Ohio which is Amish country and absolutely gorgeous- especially in the fall. Some recommendations to do there would be Behalt Amish Mennonite heritage center, yoders Amish home, heini’s cheese, Kaufman bakery, Mount Hope auction, and Downton Berlin shopping

I was wondering just a couple days ago when we’d hear from you and here you are! Nice to see you again! That first sandwich you got looked delicious! German food is usually very good if the people making it are serious about making it the correct German traditional way. Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, I would have to see those areas too. I’m glad you’re having fun! Take care out there, wherever you may be!
