I love you Fred Hammond. Your well scriptured words in your music gets the people right in the presence of our Lord and Savior. I'm coming out of homelessness and "the midnight hour", its good to know songs in your spirit that relates back to the king of king and his name is JESUS. In other words when you cant get to your music the spirit sings, Praise God. Ms Tonia

Thanks MrRedrocket42 and MegaBlack145. I had no idea the name of the person playing bass. I'm not well known as to which bass is which like you two, but I'd love to be one day. The entire song with its Gospel message as well as instrumentation was solid and on point. But the funk produced by Maurice was definitely enjoyed. Thanks for the music 1962Teddybear.

I have yet to hear a better sounding or played Peavey Cirrus 5 bass than this. This clip should keep the Cirrus bass selling for years to come. Well, for anyone who wants a clear, articulate and tight tone that is. The bass cat Maurice Fitzgerald featured here is beyond solid, his bass playing should be required reading/studying for anyone looking to own the pocket.

Dang Fred, ur praise to the Lord seemed so authentic. Fred Hammond singing gospel was the first gospel cd anyone had ever given me. And i have enjoyed praising the Lord with him since. Secular music is not where its at. Maybe because i hate it but i just can not see this man jamming nuthen but to the Lord himself....the word is telling the truth when it says don't put ur trust in pple, i still luv this dude, in grace!

You know what? people that don't have nothing to do in the morniing should be doing this. There needs to be a new way to get up in the morning. I'ts too assumed. Too dictated. While the kids are in school we need to be tearing up the atmosphere. Who said we have to put limits on worshipping God?

Praise your name because you are who you are....Worthy!!!! Did Fred really go secular? I mean God spared his life while he was in his mothers womb literally. Knowing that what better way to use your gifts than to worship the one who loved u that much....
@nolannasimon3644

Fred has always used scriptures to sing his songs. The word says God referred to HIMSELF as I AM. He is who He is is, which is everything given to us by Christ Jesus. His name is HOLY...There is no doubt who He gives praises to!
