The thing with some humans is that they dont appreciate greatness. Fred Locks is a great stalwart for reggae music. Yow and I love his militant stands yeah a man must be able to defend his stands no matter what. A real servant of the music, full of history. Jah continues to bless the man. Thank you for doing this interview really enjoyed every minute of it. And learnt so much from Fred Locks. He really is an amazing artist and man. Been through so much and really earned with his life effort to be rewarded and given the good dues he deserves. His amazing great interview made me smile and engrossed throughout. So wondered how Fred Locks was as grew up on his great tunes. Still such a stunning man after all these years. Lovely Irey soul and spirit. Teach Dem I definitely enjoyed this interview more than most simply because Fred Locks was I like Dad to me and my older brother. I remember back in time Fred Locks and his best friend Naldo Tafari used to visit my older brother who was a very good DJ but didn’t pursue his career because we migrated from Jamaica. Small world this Brother was living in Franklin Town and went Franklin Town Primary sch at the same time as I did..WOW...I use to live at 301/2 Cambridge st and my Neighbor as the great Jockey, Neville Cousley ...This bring back some great memories...WOW..

Great story by Fred Locks nuff tribulation him go through...I had the opportunity to meet the great man himself in 1978 a day after he did a concert at Digbeth Civil Hall Birmingham UK what a great show it was. He was related to my neighbour and came to his house. I had his Black Star Liners album which he gladly signed great memories...bless up
