These videos you've been doing point out how labor intensive it is to refurbish a bike, especially the right way. I think for most of us it would have to be a labor of love as practically speaking it would be easier to sell off or trade. Great job on this somewhat famous bike...

When you first started working on Freddie's bike I said on here that it would be better for him to trade it in for a new one but I never realised just how deep you were going to go into the bike, this isn't a repair as I first thought no it's a full restoration and I should know I've done a few. Anyway when he gets it back I just hope he appreciates what you've done and looks after it.

I've been watching the Freddie Dobbs bike series avidly. (Freddie,I believe, stays often at his girlfriend's place only a stones throw from where I live in Ipswich.) Anyway- the point need to make here is that I always thought the Scotchbrite pad RED is the most corse one. Then the green then the grey. Not Green first then red. I'm pretty sure from memory this is as per information on the packets. Am I wrong here? And is there a reason or something I'm missing here to think this way?
