Yeah, Freddie was really too gorgeous for words. I don't get the bit with tossing the woman around near the beginning, but love the scene of his chasing the other woman around the house. It's so funny when he gets momentarily distracted from his pursuit by the piano. This is one of my favorite Queen songs.

I saw your video of “Too much love will kill you”. Yes, Brian had an affair with actress Anita Dobson. He left his wife for her, and they are still married to this day. After attending the Wembley concert in 1986, she told Brian “I want it all, and I want it now”. Brian used that to write the song “I want it all”. Great video. Freddie is thinner & wearing looser clothing to hide it. He was also sporting a beard to hide small sores caused by Kaposi Sarcoma, a skin cancer common in people with HIV/AIDS. Brian released his own version Too Much Love Will Kill You In 1992, after Freddie’s death, with a video. It’s very good. Freddie recorded it in 1989, & it was on the 1995 album “Made in Heaven”, that’s why his video version is a compilation of clips. This last album was made using studio recordings that Freddie left behind for them to finish. Here’s the link to Brian’s version: kzitem.info/news/bejne/04SXm5-IkWZmp5w

Yes, I love the song "Made in Heaven" from Freddie's solo album, it's huge. The video, well, is playing around with the opposites of heaven and hell. All in all I think it's not a bad video, but I like the song more than the video.

I especially like "I'm going slightly mad" with one of the last videos, Freddie has made. He was oh so thin, and he wore makeup and wig to hide his condition, but they had fun while making the vid, and it's really funny. There's a making of for that video, which is also funny. And "the Show must go on", one of my all time favourites.

Yes, Freddie's solo album from 1985 has some really good songs, and this is one of them. After Freddie's death, Queen re-recorded it with Freddie's vocal track, but with more guitars, and less elecric dance sound. But I like the original solo version more. Of the video, I like the dancing scenes, and also the chasing scenes are really cute, but not so much the beginning, when the actress was shoved around. There is a background story of that video, that the French actress from the beginning scenes has unintentionally hurt herself from a fall in one scene, and they had to go to hospital with her. And Freddie was so kind, so worried, so willing to help her to get the best treatment possible. Luckily, she wasn't hurt bad. It's not Mary, it's an actress. I don't know any video footage where Mary plays a role.

i can just see freddie at the hospital. this is what he was really like. so kind & thoughtful. the movie never showed this side of freddie. i do not think i have read one bad thing about freddie as a person. this speaks volumes about a person.

I would think all Freddie's solo work would belong to the estate. Wonder if Freddie left it to the group or if he verbally gave them permission to use his solo work. Would love to know about this if anyone has any backstory on this. I love both versions!

@@Janetjrfan yes, Freddie left his rights for his music: Mary 50%, his sister 25% and his parents 25%. (Since his parents died, Mary has 75% of the rights - as far as I have read somewhere.) I don't know it, but I guess that Queen asked for permission, either with or without paying.

This video is a little baffling but all hot, the woman with the green scarf bit I dont get at all throwing her down the other fellow, etc, too violent, love the two women and that cat dancing on the edge of violence, not sure I understand the marching, but without those pieces the eye candy with the chase through the house would be too smarmy. Go figure!
