@Andy Furzeland I have just watched this again, and sadly since my original contribution, Des also is no more. The thing i never noticed before was the comment made by Freddy at the end, "and now a bullfinch" was spoken in imitation of Tommy Cooper, ANOTHER comedy legend. Rip all of them, the world is a smaller place.

It's such a shame that genius is not recognised until a person passes. Freddie was without doubt a comic genius and people never knew what he would do next but you would always laugh no matter what. When he took on his Elvis Presley role he was arguably the best in the business at doing it yet I don't think that was appreciated. I hope people remember him for his talent and genius rather than how he ended up. God bless Freddie, thank you for the laughter.

What a legend ,i saw Freddie for the first time back in the early 70's when my parents took me to see him as a youngster. he was the funniest comedian, and yet to see one better when he was in his heyday. Many people have tried to impersonate Elvis , but nobody came close to Freddie, if nobody has seen Freddie impersonate the King then do take a look R.I.P Freddie

I've never heard of either of these guys. I found this to be hilarious. Freddie is outrageously funny and Des can sing. Not every singer is a Tom Jones or an Elvis. But there are a lot of singers I like to listen to without comparing them to every other singer. What fun is life without variety. If you only like Tom Jones then don't listen to Des O'Connor. And how does someone "steal" a living. Apparently Des has enough fans to watch and listen and buy his records, to keep him working.
