Most definitely not generally associated with the organ, Frédéric François Chopin,1810-1849, was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period, who wrote primarily for solo piano. He has maintained worldwide renown as a leading musician of his era, one whose poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation.
Funeral March is an early work for piano and published posthumously in 1855 as part of Opus 72 along with other early works, Nocturne in E minor and three Ecossaises. This transcription is from The Village Organist Book 2 arranged by S. Ould.
Played on Hauptwerk sample set of Friesach, Austria.
