@@TheUrbanEpicure Did you do a review on the watch. Rhetorical, as you most likely are just a rude individual. The guy obviously isn't an expert on the matter, but he still does a nice job on showcasing the watch. Yes, I realize that you didn't claim to do a review, but there aren't many done on this piece, so it is still a refreshing video. Try a little class with your remarks, as it can go a long way. Thanks in advance...

It's a beautiful watch, and I bought one last year. The irony is that it's a collaboration with Riva, a speedboat manufacturer, and the watch is barely waterproof - 50m. So if you fall into the water instead of stepping onto the marina, or want to throw anchor and go for a swim, this is not the watch for you. And as far as the GMT function goes, I don't think too many speedboat drivers cross time zones. Given the size, the GMT function and the waterproof rating, this is really a pilot watch. It should have a picture of an airplane on the back, not a sailboat. Incidentally, a speedboat doesn't have sails, so I don't know why they have a sketch of a sailboat on the back of the case. Go figure. Anyhow, I love my FC GMT pilot watch. It's accurate, attractive, and easy to read in the dark when crossing time zones in business class.

Great watch at a reasonable price. I have two complaints about it thou. First the GMT hand when looking at the watch is barely indistinguishable with the hour hand due to it being of similar size and shape. Second one is the deployant buckle, its not rounded where it comes in contact with your wrist so the sharp edges irritate if you like wearing your watches with no play on your wrist.

@@NhatHuyNg well you used to be able to buy FC's for around $400-500. I remember buying a Classics Index for around $375 and it was a great watch. They're not as affordable anymore as the prices have shot up in recent years.

nice review of an absolutely cracking looking watch. only thing is 2800 pieces can in no way be described as a limited edition. i'm afraid that's just marketing smoke and mirrors.

Nice review of the watch . As far as the GMT function goes how do you set the second time zone which dosnt have exact hours differences ? Like setting a time zone two and half hour ahead of the local time. Wonder if that’s possible to set on this watch

I can only adjust one of my GMTs on the wrist, my Tudor augonaut. Both of my other TUDOR GMT, Rolex GMT and my Rotary GMT need to be taken off to adjust which is common. The tudor augonaut gmt is the easiest gmt to use out there in my opinion. I am waiting for my FC runabout to delivered and think it's a handsome watch for the money.

The Runabout chronograph version, with the boat, would that be a good present for my dad's 80th birthday? He loves boats and owned many through the years. He even owned/restored/saved the country's oldest wood motor boat. He has very large wrists though, but I'm thinking he could always have it as a showcase or collector's item if he thinks it looks too feminine on his wrist size-wize. My first thought was the 44mm Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer chronograph, but the box it comes in is very plain compared to this one. I would appreciate your opinions.
