Since you are not on the water, the water in your bilge is probably not coming from the cockpit through holes, unless the bilge pipes are clogged. Have you done a thorough deck inspection? Look for soft or rotten deck areas. Water ingress can be from hull to deck joints, check the hull to deck joint fasteners. It would do you well to stay on board during a heavy rain. You are going to need a larger bilge pump. You are indeed fortunate in that bees do not live on the high seas, so you will be safe there.

I found the leak! The rear most hatch needs to be replaced, there was a sheet of plywood overtop of it when I got the boat that I moved. I sat in the rain for an hour after the vid and looked for the leak. Its covered again now confirmed the leak has stopped and has been added to the list of must fixes. I will check the deck joint fasteners too just to be safe! Thanks for the tips and the Giggle from the bee comment lol

To each their own. Some of us like to learn what he's doing, while he's doing it. Maybe it'll be different when you start your channel rebuilding your free boat?
