Its nice to see that it appears that it has seen some good attention. When we were there a few years back it seemed like it had been seeing some abuse. A lot of broken glass and trash scattered around a lot of the sites. We were there in our 39' 5th wheel. Coming off of 81, the mountain that you need to go over makes for some pretty steep roadway. We also had a lot of logging truck traffic.

That is fairly close to me and would a nice spot for an overnight trip on the motorcycle. Is tent camping allowed there? Love the creek.

Yes you can! Tent camping is most certainly allowed at the Oronoco Campground. Without the pit toilets open, you'll need to observe proper sanitation while tent camping in the national forest.
