So I saw a couple videos of this. Decided to try it since laundry is $2.25 a load.... Saved about $25 in the first day... Did all the laundry I wanted. Let the straw do the work.
My landlord was charging 3 bucks a wash and I thought it was bullshit. I watched one of these videos and went down to the washer and somebody beat me to it. They had broke the Lock of and just left it there. Guess who getting free wash now

Don’t use a antiquated quarter machine and have a broken dryer that takes two times to dry my clothes completely. Decrease cost and increase the rent to offset any potential losses. Better yet get your cheap ass to get a digital laundry machine of the modern day. There are machines now that have apps that accept online payment and quarters. They tell all the tenants wait times as well so they don’t have to check to see if it’s open and know when their laundry is done. My friend has this system and I am pissed that I am stuck going to the bank getting 100 dollars worth of quarters to do laundry for 3 months.

I'd be more inclined to believe the landlord (who likely owns multiple properties has led to an over-inflated housing market and has driven house prices through the roof, making them completely unaffordable for first time home-buyers, forcing individuals into the perpetual cycle of renting) that would rather price-gouge his tenants and force them to pay $2.25 on what costs $0.04 cents for a cold/cold load of laundry rather than include it in the rent, is more likely going to get bad karma than someone who works a 40 hour work-week on a non-livable minimum wage and can't afford the basic necessities because their landlord is charging them 20 minutes of labor per laundry wash (not including drying). Can you explain who is stealing from who in this situation?

Johnny Lightning Did you know that in a recent study published by the Rand Corporation, between 1978-2018, the top 1% of income earners have effectively stolen $50 trillion from the bottom 90%? Look it up. Google it it’s a well known study and was published in TIME magazine even. You’re concerned about a young kid trying to save some money to maybe buy a home while you’re getting bent over the wealthy elites and you don’t even realize it. Your lack of understanding of what true theft really is is unfortunate and I do hope you do some soul searching and research so that us in the bottom 90% can stand up to the wealthy reclaim what has been stolen from us, rather than focusing on a kid saving $2.25 by hacking a laundry machine. We’d love to have you on our team
