The recipe for transparent air-drying polymer clay.
Suitable for sculpting currant berries! It is easy to make at home, it is not possible to digest, since we do not brew here, but simply dissolve.
E425i Pure Glucomannan Powder (KGM) - You can buy it at almost any sports nutrition store.
Since this recipe needs a detailed explanation, and I do not know English very well. I published this recipe, with detailed photos, on a friendly website:

The second required component is konjac glucomannane - E425i - KGM. IYou can buy it at almost any sports nutrition store.
ATTENTION! To increase transparency! In the second part of the video, at the moment 17:51, we add MORE (that is, a plus to those shown in the video): 1 coffee spoon of glycerin, and 1 coffee spoon of vaseline oil. This will increase transparency BUT reduce moisture resistance! Therefore, I did not include this in the main recipe. How to do it is up to you to decide which quality is more important to you.
I use Glue Sitol 5012/43, you can simply buy in your country - enter the name of the glue in Google, it will find online stores. This is an adhesive based on EVA dispersion, since it is more transparent than PVA, it is very similar to PVA, if you do not know it is difficult to distinguish.
You can save money, buy the most purified konjac gum, like mine (see that KGM is at least 96%), but the transparency will be the same as mine, with pure one should be better. I wanted to check, ordered from this seller, there is a reliable seller and it is clearly written that the powder is clean. But with the situation that has developed recently, the package was lost, I returned the money, they returned it to me without any problems. Aliexpress always returns, the main thing is to keep track of the time so that the buyer's protection does not end.
Glycerin is required ALWAYS low viscosity (liquid) as pure as possible, thick does not wet well, and polymer clay turns out to be cloudy.
Glucomanan dissolves very well at temperatures of 75-80 degrees Celsius. Therefore, we will dissolve it by heating it in the microwave: 15 seconds at 800 watts. This way you will definitely not overheat the glue.
Since glucomannan is a very good gelling agent, we will measure with coffee spoons for accuracy. If you put more of it than it can dissolve, then white lumps will remain undissolved, and the clay will not be transparent. Pure glucomannan is expensive. BUT 1 coffee spoon is 1.1 g, that is, 100 g of a pack is enough for about 3.5 kg of glue - since water evaporates a little during production, then for 3 kg of ready-made transparent polymer clay !!! You saw my pack there was 100 g, I ate a third, conducted experiments with 2/3, I have 3 half-liter jars of clay, and you saw how much is left :)
Quality certificate for my gum: Viscosity: 36100 mpa.c; Glucomannan (KGM) 96.1%;
Ash 0.8%; sulfites 0.26 g / kg; As 0.1 mg / kg; Pb less than 1 mg / kg; pH 7; Sand 0.25%. This is a very pure good gum. The best (transparent and elastic) glue, I showed you in the video.
Many will ask for transparent cold porcelain, since it must be cooked independently, made by hand, but it is still polymer clay, since it turns out to be very flexible after drying.
