I’ve been watching this vid for the past 3 days! This is amazing! Thank you. I don’t intend on doing wedding photography, I’m into live music and concert photography and am just starting but I saw this FREE Tutorial and said This Man is gracious enough to give us this great content so I’m gonna watch cus I know it will give me some pointers I can translate into the style of photography I’m into. I’ve learned so much and feel semi confident that if ever I decided to branch out, I might be able to take a stab at wedding photography or just simply photograph people in general for portraits and stuff. Again, thank you so much- you’ve gained a follower!! One question: I’ve never used a light stand and just wanted to know how you took the photos without it being in the way? Is it edited out or are you positioning the camera to capture the photo without getting the stand in the way? Hope it’s not a silly question and thank you in advance if you chose to answer my question! 🖤

Hello. I’m watching your content as I send you this message. I’m a photojournalist w/ over 30 years of experience… however, I’ve only shot 2 weddings (over 20 years ago), but since leaving Nike and switching to Sony, I’m revisiting the idea of wedding photography. Is there a great place to go to get a wedding contract (something I’ve never used before)? Your camera holster, what’s the name of it (please)? And I may steal some of your methods for photographing a wedding (I’m just saying [LOL])!!! Great tutorial btw!!!

i have a question, im not sure if you'll see this but when it comes to the reception, in the past when ive done weddings the couple always wanted crowd shots (literally going around to every table and getting a photo of everyone who was there), is that something you and your team do when you're covering the reception? or once you get those before shots and the cake cutting is that pretty much it? i mean covering the events of the reception (throwing of the bouquet, people dancing, etc) feels like i cant be really too creative so i wouldn't see the point of just getting random shots like that.

@@whitedovenc - The other major differences are the increased price and weight of the RF 28-70mm f/2L, and that it does not have IS (Image Stabilization), but the RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS does. Many people have trouble deciding between these two lenses, because each has its advantages.
