Love the guitar (Collings), is it all mahogany ?
@joe_gore

Yes! An all-mahogany OM-2. Funny - over the years I’ve gravitated to darker and darker sound on both acoustic and electric guitar. I guess I’ve lost my taste for “sizzle.” The strings (Thomastik-Infeld Plectrums, gauge .012) are also dark-toned relative to most acoustic guitar strings.

@@joe_gore Well, you are welcome. Years ago I found you searching for reviews on Thomastik Infield Plectrums, and found your video "$24 Acoustic Strings". When I saw your cover of "God Only Knows" I was simply blown away. Thanks for all your contributions to the music world Joe.

Nicely laid out lesson! And how insightful about the rhythmic ruts we can so easily fall into. Your examples are fun and playable and I look forward to sharing them with students!
