In this video I provide a comprehensive overview of Dimensions and Dimension styles of the FreeCAD Draft workbench.
As part of the tutorial, I provide information about the setup of default dimensions style, including arrow style, text offset, text height, dimension and extension lines overshoots (extensions), units setup and override. Creation of dimension is shown, including continuous dimensions and how to edit existing dimensions. Creation of angular and diameter dimensions is demonstrated in the video too.
Styles of dimensions is also described, including the difference between default dimension styles (which are saved as part of the FreeCAD installation) and annotation styles (which are saved as part of the FXStd file).
The difference between World and Screen Display mode settings is also explained.
