While I love the Course in Miracles I had hoped that I would cross the barrier of this world and the real world. I have heard of many ancient mystics who have done this but no one in my current time space dimension of experience. Would love to hear if anyone is experiencing this. Thank you. Just discovered this channel and really appreciate the teaching.

I love how Emily explains the space. "In the space between stimulus and response your putting a picture of this other person as who they are as God created them and that's the basis on which you make your decisions." Definitely mind blowing. Great conversation.

Hi guys, 50 year old noobie here just starting to get my head into ACIM and your material has been so incredibly helpful. Thank you both for what you do. I’m sure it’s been said before but Robert reminds me so much of Steve Carelle it’s spooky!

Wow, this was a really great unpacking of how our past traumas are playing into our current attacks and our future.I have been going through this for years and am now really motived to learn how to "unlearn" or correct w/ HS. I will have to listen again and take notes...thank you so much!

Thank you. This really helped dislodge me from an illusory thought about the present moment and what it means. Being of aware of the timeless reality rather than the phenomena of the senses. ❤

I'm just at the point where I don't want to be a 'spiritual seeker' anymore, I just want practical advice for how to have inner peace and get on with my life. If spirituality does any good at all, it should help you so that you don't have to be constantly 'thinking about spirituality.' The shambles that I was left in after organized religion got through with me need to be put back together, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it.

As i worked through my past the block to healing was releasing the pain i carried from the past. I pictured a mason jar inside of me holding all of the pain and when i through therapy tried to let go of the past and release all of the pain the fear was overwhelming and it took years before i was able to remove the lid from the jar and let the pain, anger, hurt, depression, fears, etc out . This eventually led me to forgive those who hurt me, forgive myself and most importantly forgive god opening me to the grace of god that gave me a totally new life free of the past including loving those in my past

Thank you both for your sharing commitment and caring to bring the course material to everyone. I found it really helpful when Man’s Search for Meaning was mentioned and how each decision is based on a reaction or response but the course reminds us the reason why we choose to respond is because of who we are and who the other person is. We remember our true identity is of love and we come from God. I love when it’s practical because then it’s easier to practice so your personal stories are helpful also. Thank you again and Merry Christmas ❤

I listen on Podbean, just commenting here. Not all the way through this episode yet but it's good so far. You mention trauma therapy often focuses on the past. Therapists who really understand trauma realize that it's not what happened to a person that matters the most, it's the meaning the person makes of it. The most traumatic meaning a person makes of adverse experiences is a separation based meaning. People learn to separate themselves from their own goodness, other peoples goodness, the goodness of the spirit in them. The fear that meaning causes is what makes it get stuck in the person't nervous system as well as their ego.

When you change the way you look at things the thing you look at changes so definitely we should not give up on anyone we have the power to change them by how we perceive them.. Look at what dr. Hew llen did for his patients.

Thank you for this conversation. There are many ways to see Christ in our brothers, or to see a situation from a new perspective, but one thing that helps me is to ask myself: what do I see/sense/experience if I set aside my thoughts in this moment? Or what do I see/sense/experience if I’m born right now? Whenever I want to see beyond of physical reality, and experience myself in the Holy Spirit, I ask these questions and immediately I sense that all is well regardless of what is “happening” in front me me. ALL IS WELL is not concept though, it is an experience full of peace. Is it the real world? Is it true perception? The pull of the ego can feel strong, but a little willingness to remember who we are, to remember God, and the Voice for God, calling us back, is what makes us want to join in our true identity. And we remember our identity, we also remember the identity of our brother, because it is the same. What would I experience in this moment if I set aside my thoughts, if I set aside all concepts and stories of the past?

When you change the way you look at things (or people, problem etc) the thing you look at changes. We should definitely never give up on people we have the power to change them. Look at the work of fr. Hew len how he changee the lives of his patients an amazing testimony.. He used these 4 phrases i am sorry, i forgive you , thank you, i love you.

I found this very helpful but I disagree with you on mindfulness that it chains you to form. It actually opens up the perception of something beyond just the sensations and forms being experienced in the moment, the transcendent dimension. I see mindfulness and the Course as complementary paths, and both have helped me.
