It's an excellent plane, in fact I've seen payware that is not up to this standard. Thanks for the scenery links too - they look like good stuff. EDIT:: Incidentally, closer examination of the scenery left me gobsmacked and an immediate flurry of downloading. I bought the guy a few well deserved coffees too. I recommend his work 100%.

Cheers mate, I appreciate the support - and tolerance of my humour. I'm biased of course, but Australia is one of the best places to fly, virtually or otherwise.

From one old codger to another, thanks for your content and agree on both Sal1800's and Coolguns. They do a great job. Keep on fly 'n the red dirt.

Another entertaining video and a fun plane for sure. Alas, Xbox sim pilots like me can't get the free stuff, unless I'm mistaken. Still fun to watch. A detail I found really charming about the T206, the magnetic compass at the top of the windshield shaking and wobbling. I don't think I've seen that in anything else. Makes the plane feel more alive, I think.

Thanks mate. And yeah, I noticed the magnetic compass as well. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but it's a nice touch.

This is one heck of an airplane! I have been flying it quite a bit lately. Have you seen the World Update 17 in the UK? A guy can play find the house in the UK now. I did a vid in Glasgow and got a huge response of folks saying they spotted their house. I really like your content and enjoyed the flight! Thanks

Cheers mate. I wasn't aware of WU17, so thanks. Seems like I've missed a few of them actually...will have to address that!

I downloaded this as soon as I became aware of its existence and yeah, hats off to the developer--it's so cool to have such high-quality freeware (better than some payware). Not quite photorealistic, but immersive enough and much better than many. I've just installed the upgrade and I'm looking forward to enjoying the operational improvements. It's interesting that there's no G1000 version, as that became standard in 2004, but even though glass offers great advantages, steam gauges seem more in keeping with the "bush ethos" of planes like this (especially with tundra tires), and of course a GTN750 can really help with tricky topography (my first flight with this was in the Alaskan bush). My main issue is that I don't see the amphib version--is that coming out later or did I miss something? I'm also not seeing the avionics options you show--there's a choice of "Default steam" or "Upgraded" avionics, but in either case, I'm just seeing Config and Engine tabs on the tablet--no Instruments tab.

All I did was watch your crosswind takeoff and I nearly soiled 'em. I remember the Crocodile Hunter. Wasn't he that guy with a keen eye for what constituted a proper knife or am I thinking of someone else?

Don't ever say this channel isn't beneficial for your health, even if it's only for laxative purposes. You're thinking of Crocodile Dundee :)

Nice video. This is an enjoyable plane for sure. However, the flight model is very docile, almost too easy and forgiving.

Thanks mate. I don't have an accurate point of reference for the dynamics, but as an old fella, I don't mind a bit of 'docile' :)
