Does the magnetic lens cap work without the vnd base in the threaded part?

Hey Andrea! Amazing content! I have a question when you record videos with the Fuji camera do you use flog and color grade the videos or do you use one of the film simulations like eterna or classic chrome straight out the camera. Again amazing content!

Hey Christian, thanks so much for the comment and glad you enjoyed my work 😃 For videos, I usually use the F-log and color grade in Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve. Sometimes I like using the Eterna profile, but it's very rare. Ciao 😃

Thanks, Andrea, for this presentation. I am definitely considering buying those filters. I do have the latest Lee Filters but Philip and I would both benefit by having this one too! Are you going to do a video on the GFX 100S? Take Care.

Hi Odile, thanks so much for the comment. As you saw in the video, even though this system is absolutely lovely, keep in mind that using it with wide-angle lenses you'll get some vignetting issues on the corners. If you plan to use it for mid-tele and longer focal lengths, both for stills and video, it's brilliant. I didn't plan a GFX100S review, yet :) Have a good one and say hi to Philip! Ciao :)

Hi Andrea Great information thanks. I use xt4 with 10-24 and mostly use 10 or 12 mm for real estate videos. I want to have variable nd. But I can find any videos that people tested with really like 10mm. I think I will get high vignet with 10 or 12mm? What is your idea for it?

Hi Sitki, thanks for the comment. Well, VND filters have a trade-off, and that’s cross-polarization when cranked up at high ND values. I do not recommend them for filming videos at so wide focal lengths. I highly suggest to stick with regular ND filters for those uses. VND filters are much more efficient with less extreme focal lengths. Ciao 😃
