Motor confusion answer. Hey guys, this model is flown in the video with the 3748-1650kv outrunner motor, not the upgrade option 1835 inrunner. Originally in 2015 this model came with a 3748-1550kv which was updated about 2 years ago to the 1650kv. So even better. You can see that the model flies excellent on the 1650kv outrunner so the 1835 inrunner will probably only make it even better. Great work Wes, sorry I confused you at the show

So what you think it would fly like if o took the stock 90mm outta the eflite viper? ( I know they are competing companies). I've never had a freewing and looking to get away from eflite.

Does anyone know if this bird comes with the horizontal stabs prewired on a Y-harness, or are the servos on separate wires? I don't want to cut a Y off and replace the cut ends if needed.

Motion RC, is there a way to turn off the blinking of the lights? I would prefer to just have them static. Nice flying, Boozer!! Mine just arrived today. I already added an Assan AG61 taxi gyro and setup the Rx with SAFE and AS3X. The only thing left before I maiden is to figure out those lights from blinking!

So I have been playing with independent flap channels for flaperons and spoilerons. I have found that spoilerons are incredible for high-alpha flight. It makes sense now that I think about it. I just can't believe people don't focus on that as a function of ailerons on an F-16.

Just when I was ready to get this 90MM version Freewing discontinued production... So is there any difference between this version and the 80MM besides the size

I'm curious because I absolutely love ANYTHING F-16. I have the E-flight F-16 70mm and it's a blast to fly and very easy for the most part to handle. I'm wondering this big 90mm brother handles as nicely as the 70mm. As you may know, the E-flight F-16 70mm is a high-alpha master with ease. Now, the E-flight 80mm is a completely different animal. It will not high alpha without a bit of modification to the plane physically. It'd be nice if this 90mm handles like the 70mm, just a little bigger.

Great review! I couldn't help but notice the bad paint alignment between the fuselage and nose cone... 🤔 Sad to see considering the price point. Hopefully they fix that.

Wesley. Amazing how much control you still have with those slow high alphas. Beautiful jet. We’re getting ready to build the full scale one just up the road from Nall for our Allies... in Greenville, SC. Might be hearing the real deal in the very near future next time you come to NALL IN THE FALL. ✈️✈️😁😊😎

I haven’t crashed it but I got one from a guy that had crashed it. I love it only downside is a short flight time but it’s definitely a fun plane just remember get back on the ground at 3 minutes or it becomes a flying rock

Nice flight and plane! Can you go more than 5000 for the Lipo? In your opinion would that color scheme be better than the grey for viewing in the air I wanted the arctic but they don't make it in the 90. Did they fix the paint on the nose cone for that? Thanks
@MerryBoozerRC
4 жыл бұрын
You can probably fit a 6000 just remember it’s already a heavy plane and additional wait only will spoil performance. It’s definitely an awesome plane just remember it’s definitely for advanced pilots

@@MerryBoozerRC I have flown jets for a long time just never an F-16 (Always wanted one lol) If I do get it i'll put in the 4068-1835kV that's why I was asking. Can't decide on paint though. Thanks for your response.

I bought this model in March of 2019 and it still came with the 1550. Not very peppy, so it now has a 1835. Yet to test fly, I would have loved to have had the 1650 straight out of the box.
