Could that be why so many people have trouble with their food getting soft? This is very beneficial info. Thanks!

I've always believed it is one of the 2. Either the food is not 100% bone dry or the packaging and/or sealing technique is incorrect. or both. I've seen friends and family members make this mistake when they first started. Heck, I made the same mistake. It hurts my soul thinking that people might have their food storage compromised because they weren't letting the mylar cool before releasing the lever. 😥

I've wondered about this. Thanks for sharing...where did you learn about this? I certainly never have come across it before, and I've studied all the HR material in addition to a lot of youtubing!

I’m one of the orig HRFD FD’rs in the first groups. ( Betty’s , Kim Kane’s and Liz and Nick) I also have a business partner that owns a Commercial Food Co Packing Business. I’ve been fd’ing for just under 9 years and my uncle also owned a huge industrial floral FD’r in the 80’s and 90’s. I spent a lot of time learning about FD’ing back then but just almost 9 years with my HRFD’s. 😃

@@kimmididwhat I can tell! I sub to most of the ace dryers here on YT, but apparently I've missed your channel up until this point! It is a shame the algorithm promotes people doing basic candy with their FDs instead of people like you and Phil who actually bring valuable knowledge to the table.

@@T4nkcommander , Thank you. That means a lot. I posted my very first video ( a short before shorts were called shorts) in 2016. ( The ham one) I had it up along with the ice cream roses one from 2017 until I got some nit nice comments back then. I also wasn’t very confident at the time so I made them private. I made them public again in 2018 when a small number of people in Betty’s and Kim’s group asked what happened to them. I really just want to help my fellow FD’rs. It weighs heavy on my heart that people might not have viable food stored when they need it the most. Aaaannndd… It’s Really Really hard for me to ask for subs. Or likes… It’s not a natural thing for me. I teach. I’m not a salesperson on the platform. Strange because I’ve never had a problem selling my candy or fruits/veggies in the last 8 years but I tell people about the history of at home FD’ing and they buy because we connect. If I can help people on my little channel, I’ll be happy. ( Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to be monetized, but I have to stay honest and ethical) Again, Thank you so much for your kind words. 😃💕 And…, ( this is not easy for me to ask), could you maybe share my channel with anyone you might know would get something out of it? Whew!…, 😅, I did it…

@@kimmididwhat certainly! Can't say as I have many to share with tho, sadly... we're still ahead of the times even at this late stage. But I'm guessing in the next year or two that will change.
