First let me say, I love your pattern folio for happy mail! Second let me say, I am so sorry for the way many of the commenters have spoken to you. It is always obvious when the holidays have ended, as people stop saying nice things to one another. I completely understand why people wanted a demo and many of the people that asked about it, did so in a courteous way. It is actually quite helpful for you to know what viewers are interested in seeing. However, I fail to understand why other folks thought being snide and hurtful was necessary. Kudos to you for being so gracious to them! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to watching more of your videos 😊

Here’s one for everyone to try . Get a cereal plastic liner from a friend and wash it well. Pic your images from napkins making sure you have the napkin separated to one layer. Decoupage the images onto the plastic and let them dry. And peel them off. You can use them as embellishments. It was a lots of fun. Whether the mod podge is glossy or matte is your choice, judy

I have a problem. I am compelled to read comments to videos because historically I've found that I learn alot from the comments too. BUT, bless you Lola, you have some of the rudest followers I've seen in all the years of watching youtube videos for a myriad of crafts. My problems is that I thumbs upped but am hesitant to sub because some of them are so off putting they give me anxiety and ruin my enjoyment of your videos. I'm so sorry you take so much abuse. If you can block people like that, I hope you will because you're too kind of a person to take that kind of treatment. Meanwhile, I liked this video and followed you easily on your explanations. I guess some people need to see you at the ironing board and the sewing machine to 'get it'.

Oh…you are incredibly kind😊💗! To be honest, it’s sweet comments like yours that keep me going! The rude, inconsiderate comments are truly not worth my time or energy. I try to practice what mama always said…” if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.” Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but sadly, some people don’t know how to express it in an appropriate way. So we move on and focus on the good, ignore the bad! I hope you won’t let these comments stop you from enjoying videos on YT! Thank you a thousand times for your time and concern….so appreciated!🌸💗🫶🌺

Did you know that vintage patterns can be worth some very big money? You do have to do some research to see which ones are worth what. It may be worth it before you use those patterns for crafting. Patterns can be copied on a home printer (those with that feature), and then the copy can be used for your crafting.

@trudyoakley 3186 Please don’t chop up all those old patterns until you check their value. Do a little research. Lots of us are looking for original vintage patterns.

I Have no intention of chopping them up just hoping to make them more sturdy. If I decide to part with any will let you know. Thank you. @@simpleshoes

I see you’re still on KZitem, so here’s a suggestion: attach a little tab of ordinary clear tape to each side of the napkin at an edge, then easily pull the tabs to pull the plies apart. Not my idea, but had my mind blown when I saw it. Beats blowing, hoping the plies will part. Well, your ideas are all first rate. Cereal bags are not clear like your Fuse pockets, so I see your idea is better. Thanks!

Oh, and Minnesota Fabrics is down memory lane. Sigh. I remember going fabric-shopping at the old-fashioned mall. I’d check out Schusters, JC Penney, Woolworths, Mary Lester and Minnesota. Oh, those were good old days. I’m in WI. 💜

Years later, but which side of the freezer paper do you iron the napkin or paper onto? (I won't assume which side; I'll guess wrongly!)
@vintologybylola7921

Yes…it has been years and who knew it would be more popular now than 3 years ago?🤷🏼♀️. If you wait until after the new year, I will be doing a tutorial on how I did this. If you can’t you lie the napkins on the shiny side of the freezer paper, put a piece of parchment over the napkin and then you iron. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping in🙂

She didn't preserve the pattern. She ruined it by tearing it up. She only preserved the envelope.
