dongle berry is such a calm bull! that is a the type of a bull that you need in a herd, great video, sorry for the bitter cold. that stinks, hard to get warmed up after being out side for most of the day.

Dinglberry must have been hand raised, he has no fear of you and seems to like you. To me that's a caring owner treating his cattle with care. Be safe

Idk if he was hand raised or not but he is definitely a gentle giant and we have always treated him well for the 3 years we have had him so he puts up with us

When I was a lot younger (20’s-30’s) I had to haul hay, 2 bales at a time, about 1 1/2 miles. No fun. Turn 60 bought a cab tractor, best move I made.
@knappfarms
Жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s why we usually use the 1066 is to be able to haul 2 but the bale spear wasn’t on the loader so I just did the one at a time should need to get the grapple we have for it on
@normanknapp6041
Жыл бұрын
The 1066 originally came with two six volt batteries. When we got it it had one 12 volt battery I switched it over to two 12 volt batteries for better cranking power.

If you can find a hydro and don’t plan on pulling heavy tillage equipment they are definitely worth it for a loader tractor just a little pricey lol

😱 at 9:00 - surprised the whole barn didn’t blow as much un-burnt fuel was atomized into the air during that forever cranking. 😂

I’m getting worried about the weather to come we are looking at 60s next week and for us in February that usually means it’s gonna get real cold real fast with a lot of rain right before so ice everywhere but maybe it will just stay warm and it will be an early spring

@@knappfarms that sounds nasty what you might have coming i hope you don't get it that bad , its been cold and dry here it the south of the UK but not the cold you seem to get slight frost at night with -2or-4c or( 23f ) and 46f in the day , i hope to start putting Nitrogen fertilizer on the grass for silage in about 4 weeks time , I hope we both get a early spring 🤞 , forecast here next week is rain and milder , hope we stay InTouch really enjoy talking with you

As a retired heavy equipment and big trucks mechanic, just a little enlightening to the battery placement. You get more cold cranking amps out of two six volts, so it turns longer but not as fast. You get the fastest cranking from the12 volts but not S long.i wish I could still mechanic,, but I do good to full time farm at 64 .
