In this episode of How to Drink,I’m making a classic cocktail from the 1920’s called a French 75. It’s famous for knocking people off their feet like the artillery it takes it’s name from. Earlier versions of the French 75 called for a few dashes of Absinthe, which I tried and highly encourage because it is outstanding! Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Cheers!
French 75 Ingredients:
- 2 oz or 60 ml of Gin
- .5 oz or 15 ml of Gomme Syrup
- 1 oz or 30 ml of Lemon Juice
- Top with Champagne
- 2 Dashes of Absinthe
