I have redone the TPR lesson video with some thinking time. TPR is very effective to acquire action verbs. Please use your gesture and act out with me!
1st 7 verbs introduced are listed here in dictionary form below (masu form in the video to sound politer in daily usage)
漢字かな ひらがな Romaji EN
1 食べる たべる taberu eat
2 飲む のむ nomu drink
3 寝る ねる neru sleep
4 起きる おきる okiru get up
5 読む よむ yomu read
6 書く かく kaku write
7 [勉強]する [べんきょう]する [benkyo]suru do [studying]
I have some level 0 beginner students now, and I need to quickly pile up some videos for them to watch daily. I will simply record something and post straight without editing. When I find time, I will improve the subtitles!
It would be nice if you can watch the video as part of your daily Japanese input, or even you can interact to the questions that I ask in it, However, please do not feel you must answer to them. Take it as someone you know is just simply making a conversation with you. "Take it easy" is my best advice! Because you will acquire only when you are relaxed and enjoying. I hope you enjoy it!
