Great, concise video. I have the game and just read the rules, but this helped clarify. I definitely agree on the quality of components, excellent and well thought.

Well if this game is depicting Renaissance. You did not go to the market to buy paint. You made it yourself, or hired apprentices to do it for you. You might be able to buy the things you needed to make the paint. And some of those things were very expensive like Lapis or cobalt. You couldn't buy paint until the French Impressionist time. And most of the artists, painters relied on patronage. Or they were commissioned, usually by the church. Or people who wanted to get in good with the church so they would hire painters to do all those religious paintings. So when the Pope came over for lunch he could say. "Oh, nice painting of St.Peter." And you know this game is called Fresco. But not one word is mentioned about egg tempera.

Also the bishop wasn´t made out of wood and wouldn´t hand out victory points to random painters when he happened to be seeing them work. Maybe you could bribe him thoug. Thanks for the educated reply is all I wanted to say.
