I can tell we are the older guys. The younger ones ask questions about things they overlooked that are covered in the shorter videos. :)

Great video as usual. Why is everybody going with white glue these days than brown?

I take it you mean "brown" liquid hide glue. I have it on my shelf for other uses. It has break down characteristics that the yellow aliphatic resin glues do not. Aliphatic resin is more consistent, and surprisingly quite water resistant after cure. The product "Old Brown Glue" is a very good product. I also use fish glue, PRG and various high grade epoxies. Lets not forget the Cyanoacrylates....for certain jobs. You will enjoy the part 2, and another fretwork faux pas to follow. Thanks for watching.

Any advantages to a partial refret besides cost?

I do a lot of partial refrets. Bottom line is a lot of people just do not use all of the frets. They constantly play the same songs, with the same chords or notes, in the same places. Most usually 10 frets or less.
