As an American, what we call things is completely regional. Like we have at least 3-4 different words for "soda" depending on where you go in the US. The size of the USA is basically the size of continental Europe, so it would be like asking someone who lives in France of Belgium if they use the same terminology in Romania or Slovenia. It's just not going to happen.

Turning signal and blinker are both correct It’s sink, not faucet. I guess it’s also true, but for our grandparents generation. Curtains is way more commonly used than drapes Also, Harry, nobody says shifter. It’s stick or stick shift.

Sink is the whole thing, faucet is the actual part the water comes from. In Canada, shifter is used. When asked the question in canada, we don't tend to answer "stick shift", we say, Manual.

I'm American. I'd use curtains more than drapes but they're pretty interchangeable. Blinker is also correct.. you also hear turn signal but you hear blinkers all the time. Gear shift is shifter period. I pretty much always agree with Harry's little outbursts.. he's generally correct in this and other videos! If you're gonna do the this tuoe of video you should have an actual American consult on the answers. I know Vik has a lot of American friends.. just ask them to check!

Where I am in the US, blinkers would not be correct as blinkers are only for emergency lights (both turn signals blinking at the same time).

I, as well as most of my family and friends, always say turn signal. I would agree on shifter although some people do say stick, but a stick shift is definitely the transmission as a whole.

I wouldn’t say curtains and drapes are interchangeable. Drapes are usually used for ‘curtains’ that are heavier, thicker and more premium than the standard curtain. It is a word used in the US sometimes (at least more than UK I’d say), but it’s not really used much and it is not an exact synonym of curtains

Harry is so bad at arguing his points sometimes :p he was 100% right. The NA “translation” of mince would be ground, but ground just happens to have another meaning as well. If mince was ground beef than chicken mince would therefore be chicken ground beef

No, Brits use ground "mince" as a noun, referring to the meat, where as we use ground as an adjective, that has to go with a noun. No one would ever say "hey, can you get me some ground?" He is also wrong in saying that you can't tell from the picture, because you can.

As an American we say different things in different areas of the country but somethings on this were just wrong imo lol. Like ik what a pacifier is but most people call it a Binky. In America we have Jam. The picture shown in video would be Jam in America bc Jelly is purple. Curtains are Curtains. Estate Agents are Estate Agents.

It would be preserves in the US not Jam because it has whole/cut pieces of fruit, while jam has mashed fruit and Jelly does not need to be purple, it is just fruit spread made using only the juice. Drapes are a specific type of curtains, made with a heavier cloth and often weighted at the bottom. And for both pacifier/binky and estate agents/realtor those are both regional variations.

As an American I I'm curious who put this video together because they clearly didn't research very well. So many things have different ways of saying like soda and tennis shoes. Depending on where you're from you'll say what I just said or things like sneakers and pop. I'm from Baltimore and the black community here has so many different slang from anywhere else around this country.
