The NYS Women's Meeting continues with Cortland County Legislator Esther Twentyman introducing Ruth Begun of the Equitable Life Assurance Society, who introduces the next performing act - Gretchen Crier and Nancy Ford. Kitty Carlisle Hart introduces Academy Award, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winning actress Helen Hayes who in turn introduces Academy Award winning actress Celeste Holm. Holm sings “It Was Good Enough For Grandma” from the 1944 Broadway musical Bloomer Girl. Afterward, Holm introduces Martha Greenhouse, president of the New York local of the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA) and Beth Holland who is working on the National Women’s Committee of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and AFTRA to provide more quality roles to improve the media image of women. Celeste Holm introduces the actresses involved in the next dramatic skit including Hattie Winston of The Electric Company, Vinie Burrows, Kathryn Grody, Rosalind Harris, Thelma Lee, Kim Hunter, and Ruby Dee. Ruby Dee reads her poem entitled "Calling All Women." Vinie Burrows performs a skit as Harriet Tubman. Kim Hunter introduces Irene Dailey who performs a skit as American burlesque dancer Sally Rand. Another musical act follows singing a song from My Fair Lady. Helen Hayes introduces Female Assertiveness Training skit starring Hattie Winston, Nancy Andrews, and Rosalind Harris. The performance cuts out and the credits of an episode of Sesame Street roll.
