The direction of friction on 30N block.. Shouldn't it be in direction opposite to what you have considered!? Because on 90N block friction is acting up the inclined plane so it must act down the plane on 30N block for the sake of Newton's third law!

sir when we are drawing fbd for 90N block why aren't we considering the weight as the combined weight of two blocks..??
@LakshmiNarayanaV1212
6 жыл бұрын
You are drawing FBD for 90N block seperately. Then you need to represent that weight only. When u combinely draw FBD for 30 & 90 N blocks then you can represent the total weight

Sir Why in fbd of block 30N f2 is acting in that direction ?
@LakshmiNarayanaV1212
5 жыл бұрын
If f2 for 30N block doesnt act in that direction it wont satisfy Newtons third law. For 90N block the frictional force generated is action and for 30N block frictional force generated is reaction. If action and reaction are equal then only equilibrium exist. For that reason....

Sir...if two or more bodies are given in a problem ..for which body should we consider the FBD??
@LakshmiNarayanaV1212
7 жыл бұрын
You can consider FBD for given bodies in any order for getting solution. Generally depending on the unknown forces present in FBD you can consider FBD. If less no.of unknowns are there in FBD it is easy to find those first instead of considering more unknown forces and keeping them in the form of equations to find later. Hope it helps u

Sir if there two or three blocks , so what will we do ? I mean which method to use .
@LakshmiNarayanaV1212
6 жыл бұрын
Whatever may be the number of blocks, first observe in the given blocks which block will have tendency to move ? For that block first draw the free body diagram.Then for the remaining blocks draw free body diagram and apply equations of equilibrium. This is the general procedure. For any problem: When there are only three forces under equilibrium then lamis theorem is the best one, more than three forces go for method of projections

Sir can you tell that . How to clear mechanical engineering subject . I have a got 14 internal out of 20 . Is it possible to clear this subject . Sir give me a tip please

Definetly it is possible Nikhil... Free Body Diagram is the basic concept whatever may be the chapter you study. Resolution and method of projections are two more important concepts. Without learning these basic things you cant solve any problem. But if you understand these concepts you can score good marks in your exam. For good marks prepare Dynamics, Chapter -1 (which includes all basics), centroid. Practice FBD and try to write equations of equilibrium

Sir can you tell me ? How to write theory papers in university exam
@LakshmiNarayanaV1212
6 жыл бұрын
For theory subjects > Once you see the question paper fix the order of questions in which you would like to write depending upon the difficulty level for you > Start your exam with the question you can answer well. Because it is the first impact of you on examiner. > Don't write long long paragraphs. Try to represent in the form of points > Try to represent those points in the form of numbers > if there are any figures useful for explaining the concept neatly draw those. That figure describes the intensity of your understanding in that particular subject. > Your handwriting should be neat and legible.
