Happy belated b'day! I'm a mid-June (16th) baby too :) I've always had winter b'days being Australian, but I'm so loving that I've become a summer baby here in the US!! Enjoy your holiday sewing prep! It's always fun sewing for an occasion. The shorts look really great, I love the length. So many people love the Fringe dress. Yours looks very pretty and very comfortable so no doubt it will be great on your holiday!! Enjoy!

Oh, happy belated birthday to you, too! Mine is the 15th. Being a northern hemisphere citizen, it never really occured to me that I would have been consisered a winter child in Australia. That is bias for you 😂. And thanks! I really like the Esther shorts. I did lengthen them quite a bit, and I think they are really comfortable in that lenght.

Happy to have successfully influenced you ;) glad you like the fringe dress - i think it looks great from what i have seen from the selfie 😊. Looking forward to seeing you make up the eucalyptus. I have also bought that pattern, but haven’t been inspired to make it up yet. Judith from the closet core team made one which was beautiful if you wanted to have a look. Great content as usual :) happy belated birthday 🎉

Sounds like shorts might be perfect for your holiday! I’ve just purchased the Bailie shorts by Tessuti as they look a nice simple make for summer 😍

Ooh. Yes, the Bailee shorts look really cute. I think those are the ones that Rachel from @stitchedup made, right? I had a look at those, too. Let me know how you get on with those. Maybe I need the Bailees, too? 😉
