Nice job. I'm in the throws of finish up my '60 f100 ... soon to be a daily like yours. Mines on a stock frame with a Industrial Chassis Dakota truck front kit. We'll see how it all works out pretty soon.

I just bought a 1960 F100 last week. I can't wait to tinker with it. Its needs very little TLC I bought it for $4500

Here's what I would have done, were I young and dumb again. Put the cab centred on the front wheels (no cheat) and then re-locate the rear wells to centre over the rear wheels. If you stick to square cuts, what's cut out works as the patch. Roadkill did one of these and the cop rims and wheelbase issue makes it not as amazing as it could be.

AMT just released a model kit of this truck. When I saw your thumbnail, I thought it was the kit.

I’m not a fan of lowering old Fords as a rule (my ‘67 will ALWAYS have leaf springs and a Twin I Beam front end), however I actually like it on the ‘60 body. It works.

@@Rustomod That truck is perfect! I just saw your Sweet Patina video on it, how is that holding up? My ‘67’s paint is original and tired, she’s got way more patina than I’d like, but that stuff looks like it could be just the ticket, at least until I can park her long enough for her long overdue refresh. I rebuilt her once in 1992, but after at least 200k miles (maybe 300k, I’ve lost track,) it’s time to go through her again. She’s done some hard work over the years.

I love the truck overall, but I hate when guys scab in the CV components, as opposed to re-wiring/integrating without sacrificing the original look of the interior.

I like these Crown Vic chassis swaps... but they almost always look a little awkward, the track is too wide. You gotta use the goofy-offset Vic wheels, just don't quite look right.

Most trucks never go off road. And a Crown Vic can jump a curb with ease. As we all know...(Cops is filmed in front of a live studio audience).

I have a 59 custom cab but it's a shortbed,would I still be able to match with the wheelbase? I've heard that u need a longed box to then cut down to match with the crown vic wheelbase is this true?
@Rustomod

Yeah you would have to extend the frame or cut the bed short
