A few years ago, in the run up to Glastonbury, the weather was very wet. I was listening to the news on Radio 4 in my car on the way to work. Just after the news the weather guy came on live radio as usual to give the forecast for the weekend. He meant to say " For those of you heading for Glastonbury, its going to be a muddy site". What he actually said live to maybe 4 million listeners was " For those of you heading for Glastonbury, its going to be muddy shite". A Freudian slip perhaps?

The bit about "someone got sick in the tent" actually DOES bring back memories. The story is as this: Friends of mine wanted to go to bed, so they go to their tent. Suddenly a dude we have never seen before comes out and mumbles "uhhh... wrong tent" and stumbles away. Okay, sometimes stuff like this happens, right? So, my friends enter the tent, go into their sleeping bags... and it smells. Turns out, the dude took a dump inside the tent. I wish I was joking. :(

Oddly he showed up to Download absurdly unprepared for such a seasoned festival veteran. Then he got drunk and accidentally let slip this was his first.
