What a beauty of a small tree! I love this channel because I'm zone 3 Canada and thus many of the featured plants can be grown here as well.

I just discovered we have one of these in our yard. It’s been terribly hacked up and has a blueberry bush growing with it. So it’s struggling. But it’s super cool! ❤

I have this tree (male) in my garden, and I just discovered the name of it. Thanks so much!! I wish I could easily find the female version.

Thanks for this. I am researching Fringetree for a coastal Virginia City verge area. I have a permit from the City for 2 of these in the "verge" and mostly have zeroed in on this as on the recommendation list of the City, and what I'm looking for to fit a verge area (strip of land between a sidewalk and the curb/street. I think this is a good candidate from what I see...Think I've made a good choice? Again, thanks for this video.

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Those berries you talked about on female plant, do they drop ? I have small kids and I don’t want them to eat the berries from the ground.

Thanks, Joyce ... a very informative video. I've been looking for something small (shrub or tree) that can screen my border.

Mine is now 15' tall and about 12 feet' wide - a beautiful shape that adds great privacy off our screened in porch and deck.

If you plant a Bradford pear over this I will slap the taste out of your mouth.

Funny how Bradford Pears were the go to tree for new suburbia, back in the day, and now they are so invasive that folks are trying to get rid of them and cities have banned them from what they plant, and try to discourage them.
