This is the perfect video to show how long a process it will be removing the fallen Key Bridge. That was only 2 sections that were cut away from the truss structure that is above water. It is best to be thinking many months to complete this work.

It's nice to see the everything getting cleaned up, but it's also so sad to watch! Baltimore, you're going to be okay! I hope there is a way to have the steel recycled, somehow, and used again in the construction of the new Key Bridge. Like a living memorial for those family members lost in the tragedy.

@davidkirkham6929 If that was your family down there, you would think differently. It is unimaginable to think of what those recovery workers are doing. Everything possible needs to be done to find these victims. Let's have a little compassion, shall we.
@IamValentina66

They are dead. Removing debris is incredibly dangerous. Would you have the workers die to find the victims? Dead workers can’t help anybody. Most bodies if not all have been retrieved. They may never find anyone else. Like the Edmund’s Fitzgerald bodies were not recovered. 9/11 left bodies. Better a memorial to those lost than lose more.

@user-js4pw5kp6g It really doesn't matter what the families of the deceased think should be a priority at the end of the day. Considering how important the port is to Maryland's economy, it should not be terribly shocking that opening the shipping lane would be the bigger priority.
