What happens when a child prodigy grows up? Do they continue in the same path, or do they divert? Do they mature, and become artists? In this episode, host Adam Meckler talks with saxophonist, vocalist, songwriter, bandleader Grace Kelly. Grace started her career as a child prodigy, performing professionally starting at age 12. With her dad as her manager, she toured the world playing with ensembles like the Boston Pops, and making albums with saxophone greats like Lee Konitz and Phil Woods. Adam and Grace talk about her development as an artist, and explore the music she is making today compared to her early career. They talk about Grace's award-winning song "Feels Like Home", and Grace talks about building a team around her to help her succeed. She talks about how she silenced the self-doubt and worry about what other people might think of her in order to become her best and full self as an artist.
