It’s not often that I feel emotionally moved by a travel video- but there’s something about the way you capture everything around you… I feel like I absolutely must make my way to Kenya. Absolutely loving your videos as a new subscriber! You’re knowledgable, kind, and calm, and you never seem to prioritize “getting the shot” over respecting the people around you. Also- thank you for showing kindness to those kids at the rest stop. They absolutely lit up when you greeted them!

I was surprised to see how white people have peacefully settled in Nanyuki when I visited the town. It has a lot of potential to even rival Nakuru if the local government steps up.

Thanks, Jason, for your great first day video of the Maasai Mara. Kenya was the first country in Africa that I visited, Your video brings back sweet memories of my first sighting of the Great Rift Valley, Initially, our guide had to point our sightings of giraffes because they were so perfectly camouflaged in the landscape. Your video capture of the African wildlife is so sharp. Are you still using your M50 on a gimbal with a 15-45 lens? Or are you using a zoom lens on this safari? Either way, I’m looking forward to the next episode. Best, Sylvia

Brought back some great memories for me too. Ah those bumpy roads and the thrill of seeing the wildlife so close. Just fabulous. You did see a lot on your first afternoon. Can highly recommend you visit Amboseli and Mombasa beach area. One thing I still do today from my trip to Kenya is to have a sliver of stick cinnamon in my black tea. Many thanks once again for all your videos. Cheers from Australia

Hi Jason ..I have meticulously observed one thing in your vlogs..you tend to like empty alone places with not much visitors...take for example your visit to Cappadocia where you loved vlogging in a solitary environment...same goes for your visit to Egypt ...as well as your visit to Citadel in Amman where you were all alone...then your visit to Rome where you were all alone...I think you thrive more in lonesome places... nothing wrong in it but just an observation...I like you as a person...cool and calm

I jhave enjoyed following your vlogs over past few years, Jason. I'm also a travel addict - but mainly wildlife focussed. Great to see you finally heading into my favoutite place on Earth -sub-saharan Africa. (If you want a recommendation - continue into Uganda for the chimpanzees at Kibale Nationla Park - oh my gosh - , and then the gorillas in either Uganda or Rwanda (we did gorilla trip in Rwanda). Hi Jason, I came across your safari vid by chance. It's really well done and captured the essence of what a quintessential safari ought to look like. I was also struck by the beauty of Kenya that you showed in your other videos. The locals seemed so friendly and the poverty that's so often portrayed in the media was not so apparent. Thank you for showing those positive attributes of Kenya.

The pandemic has provided for so many unnecessary issues or at least exacerbated existing ones; It’s interesting from an anthropological standpoint. In bed with economics more so than anthropology. Nevertheless the story line of your travels (do subscribe to other channels) presents such a wanderlust romanticism; a tourist. The terror of the current surroundings have kept me grounded - thank you for keeping me connected.

Those kids were not going to the Mara they were going to Naivasha along the old Escarpment road, you also passed the church built by Italien prisoners of war. Its funny how they always stop at the curio shops, the drivers get a cut if you buy any of their overpriced wares. Always best to let an African buy anything you need, they will only have to pay half the price.
