@@xys0077 You dont need to be a pro to call obvious hands. Major hands can only be a few at most with whats on the table. They both gave each other away but the calm guy just got sucked into the winners stupidity at the table. The loser says he had a hand that he couldnt fold yet the winner said he wouldnt have a big hand or a 10/9 for a straight which was correct, but what he didnt say is that he could have had a flush which he had himself, and was the most obvious call on the table yet the idiot still calls because he got caught up with temptation rather than smarts. Its those type of hands where its too good to fold but you wanna play. The winner had a stroke of good luck and thats pretty much what poker is. A game of luck.

@@xys0077 the worst part for Reichenstein though is that it screws him. He knows he's probably losing to a flush due to the perceived amateurs talk game but then He calls out the exact hand and suddenly were in the danger zone because if he knows what we've got all bets are off.
@user-hr2zy7ct8h

@@rockstermaniac He guessed his hand right, recognized nobody behaves and talks like that unless they have the nuts, and the guy dodges the subject of a flush when talking about the board. Was that the tell that made him realize he had it? Just like he said it's almost an impossible fold unless your opponent is talking sht. Really a beginners mistake to make it this obvious or he didn't take the game serious in that moment, either way playing stupid was the right play.

@@ronaldmayle1823 So you're saying the people who regularly win playing poker are, somehow, just beating the odds? The person with the best cards, and a lack of skill in the game, might win the hands but will still walk away with a lighter wallet. Poker is far more than just having the best cards. Reading opponents, understanding odds, knowing the appropriate times to make specific moves, and the patience to wait for the perfect time to make a move is what separates the everyday player from a good player.

@@ronaldmayle1823 I'm certainly not even in the same zip code as the best players (I rarely do better than cover my mortgage for the month), but your mentality is certainly welcome at any game I play. Yes, everyone can "read opponents and all the other BS" but there is a huge degree of skill involved in doing "all the other BS" consistently well. Like I said, you're essentially saying the many people across our wonderful globe who make a living solely by playing poker are simply just "luckier" than everyone else. Logic may give some false credence to your belief of "the better hand wins", but statistics prove this isn't true. I mean, if it was really "the best hand wins", most players wouldn't bother playing. You're welcome to argue the point further but, considering there is an overabundance of data pointing to skill playing a significant role in an individual's win/lose percentage, you might as well be arguing the shape of the Earth.
