Good job! Simple & efficient, une musique pour une scène avec des marins pêcheurs partant vaillamment pour la morue. Mais dans un film Marvel ;-) Thank you for the tip of duplicating the legato/long brass with staccatos of the same metal, I've the tendancy to use my orchestral libraries as more natural as possible, doing like a real orchestra would do in real life, but I'll try that soon

A tester ! Cheers!

Thanks for the video!. Did you mention which software you were using? Of course it does sound like an orchestra, but I would like to know if: The 1st piano track was a sample or you played it on a keyboard. Seems the chords were 1st progression and the strings sound a bit heavy to my ears. If you have the option of selecting spread harmony, may be you could try it. Two bass parts (tenor bass?) seems a good idea. Strings playing the eighth notes is what I would have also done, in this case. You have good musical tastes!

@a123386

Hi have you got it sorted already?
@grmusicnyc
4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Most of these libraries are third party and use Kontakt player by Native Instruments as a transport and interface to play them. Once you have Installed Kontakt, Logic will automatically detect it as a new AU instrument. Then through the Kontakt interface in logic (that you load like any other virtual instrument) you can add the library and use it. It souds a little techy but its actually pretty easy and a quick search on YT will yield a ton of videos to explain how to install kontakt and how ro add libraries to it :) make sure you get a recent version of kontakt to use the most recent libraries. There is a free version of it on NA website right here : www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6-player/free-download/

Many thanks for sharing! A good way to gauge the quality of the content of a video is: the viewers don't feel that time is dragging; in other words, this video is so good that 13 minutes (plus) went by so fast. I take it that the 20 down votes (as at mid May 2020) are by people selling orchestral contents! Another sub added to your growing list. Once again, many thanks for sharing - excellent stuff

As you probably know Covid-19 has greatly impacted the music community and like many musicians in New York and everywhere, I've lost virtually all my gigs and income during this pandemic. In the light of this, if you enjoyed the content of this channel and would like to leave me a tip, I set up a virtual Paypal tip Jar. You'll find the icon in the channel art and in the "about" tab. I thank you in advance for your help and please remember, tips are greatly appreciated but not expected! Thank you all again! Have a great day everyone and please take good care of yourselves! Gabe

Hi Gav, I am a self-taught orchestral music enthusiast from China because I really enjoy the energy that orchestral music conveys. However, since I am an amateur without professional training, I really need a lot of video tutorials like yours to guide my learning. I have taught myself music theory and am now studying harmony. Although it is not easy, I find it very enjoyable. I have bypassed the internet restrictions to access KZitem and found your video tutorials, which have been very beneficial. I have learned a lot from your videos. I am very excited and really appreciate that you take the time to create such free tutorials. I am 34 years old and do not have a stable job. Currently, I am learning to be a welder. I spend my spare time learning orchestral composition. I hope that one day, when I have a stable job and income, I can make some donations to support you (like paying tuition). I hope to have more communication with you. I wonder if you would be willing to do so. I hope you can reply and give me your contact information. Thank you again. As a Chinese person, I would like to bless you in the Chinese way: May God and Buddha bless you with peace and health.

Cool video, how you altered 1 violin track, to make the other violin tracks wasn't clear to me, doesn't really matter though, what is clear to me is that there is now a way for me to thicken my instrumentals/songs, which in my mind are grand & epic with lots of orchestra instruments, but, I didn't know how to do that in the real world, until now, well, at least I now have a clue, a starting point to accomplish thickening, thank you!
