I was scared to death to pray the Rosary for the first time. I planned it for a specific time and prayed all day that God would intervene if I was fixing to mess up. I waited for lightning to strike. I prayed it June 2 2014 at 10:00 PM and kept waiting to be struck by God. It was a surreal experience. I have prayed it just about everyday since!!!!!

A really good way to pray the rosary is by St Louis de Montfort. He wrote a book on consecration to Mary - it enlivens the meditations on the mysteries and you will find that your spiritual awareness is deepened. God bless you

The hatred and demonizing of the Catholic Church has its roots in the time when Henry VIII created the Church of England, with himself as the head. It was a terrible time. Monasteries were burned and looted, priests, monks and nuns were killed and Catholics were arrested and executed. In the Sunday sermons, it was preached that the Catholic church was evil and the Pope was the devil. Over the years this negative influence and beliefs and teachings have persisted in the protestant churches. I grew up Baptist, and we were taught this in Sunday school, and in sermons. It's helpful to understand history and how we are living old ideas today.

Many churches in the Vatican and Israel were built by St. Helen who was shown where the true cross of Christ was kept hidden by a great miracle. Also see the holy house of Loretto in Italy which was transported by a miracle from Nazareth in Israel to Italy. It was the house Christ grew up in

@@po18guy The internet is not real life. The algorithm rewards bad behavior because outrage sells. The level-headed majority is a bloc that you'll never hear from unless you're actually in the community. I really do get frustrated at implicit accusations that I reject Vatican II and that I'm a schismatic simply because I love a beautiful liturgy (from a religious order that is of Pontifical Right). These accusations often come from people who have never met me and also aren't willing to listen to my experience either. Sorry, please forgive my ranting, I know you didn't directly accuse me of anything, but others most certainly have. I share your concerns just like a brother would be concerned about his drug-addicted sibling. I don't approve it, I wish they would stop, I've spoken out against it, but they don't listen to me either. But I'm not going to denounce family traditions just because my little brother is shooting up on one of the most addictive drugs of all time: wrath.

@@FiledUnderFaith , it was not a cheap shot, it was to make people think, i watched the video and not once did i hear Kyle talk about the gospel of the grace of God! I don't think he knows it! He went to church with his parents (Charismatic church), guess what, they don't know the gospel of the grace of God! Just to let you know, i am not a protestant! I was a Catholic before You were born, attended mass daily, prayed the rosary and chaplet of mercy! I am from a conservative Catholic Family, my uncle was a missionary to Ghana for 50 years and my aunt was a nun for 60 years! My grandmother was deeply religious! By the grace of God, i was allowed to see the truth and was unshackled from the false doctrine of the RCC! Like i said, i am not a protestant, they are ready to be absorbed by the "MOTHER CHURCH"!!!! If You ever have interest, what Church Jesus build on Peter, let me know, because it wasn't the BODY OF CHRIST! God bless YOU!

That's funny because that was exactly how baptists encouraged kids from my School to go to their youth group. Free hot dogs and football. Later they scared them with hell to say the sinner prayer and that's where all faith journeys stopped. There was nothing beyond that. That's not what I see here. And he did talk about what was interesting for him was interpretation of scripture. Maybe you should watch it again. It also doesn't make sense that he would be struck by gospel at that time since he was already familiar with it. You can be older and more experienced than all of us that still doesn't mean you can be a douchebag.
@rlrett1

@@Mila-kz8tt, you might be right with the Baptists and their legalistic behavior, but that doesn't make the Catholics right, this are two wrongs, Biblical Pauline doctrine non existing in the RCC!
