I’ve been following Marina since they moved to the US and I watched her videos about prepping and passing TOEFL. So inspiring to look back and see her growth and how far I’ve come myself, being from a small town in Ukraine, switching my career 5 years ago, and now leading a team and moving to Belgium. Thank you both for the great talk and motivation to grow 🚀

She doesn't want to come out as a victim. I respect that! I grew up in Romania in the early 20ties and I never knew that I was poor. I was living in house with a lot of outside room to play! My food was home grown and I had everything what I wanted and that didn't require a lot of money. That was the world back then. After I emigrated in US and Germany I learnet that the wealthy people live in these country live like I used to live when I was a child. I grew up living the dream life and nothing is going to stop me to achive that.

Gary it seems to me that you were comparing Valeria and Marina a lot during the interview, very disrespectful. It made me uncomfortable that you kept trying to say that Marina is doing better than Valeria at some things? They're not the same people and their content is quite different, it's not just about money and numbers. And as a fellow woman I am offended on behalf of Valeria.
@Gary.Lipovetsky
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, but I respectfully disagree. Where you may see it as a personal attack, the intention is to simply compare case studies of two similar career paths. I don't place the same emotional significance on the comparison that you seem to believe is there.

@@Gary.Lipovetsky There are many instances when Marina was caught lying / embellishing the truth, and she teaches people to speak English incorrectly. Just one example here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/tJma1nd8en-XqGU And you are really going to tell us that we should stop overthinking and just release low quality content? Valeria is authentic and thoughtful in my observations, very different type of creator.
@innamvorobeva
Жыл бұрын
Valeria is much more thoughtful and responsible for her words person, and I would say Valeria is more educated and focused than Marina. Marina is a person of no great depth in anything, she lies a lot, says different inconsistent things in her blogs vlogs and various interviews, so it’s difficult to believe in what she says.

@@Gary.Lipovetsky Fantastic. Dr Hubermann Podcasts already does the questions part from the audience. I also started incorporating something I learned from another female podcaster Marianna Hewitt; I saw that she had a file for each guest with photos and information and a section about topics to explore, questions, ideas, etc. It helps a lot in directing the flow of conversation and planning for interruptions when guests go too fast, or there is more to explore and unearth. Thank you again for the Rise Podcast Space; looking forward to participating in some Rise Master Class/Retreat.
