You listened well. There's so many "Close" out there. But this isn't hand grenade lessons. LOL This is a song that is so perfect, anything stabbed at, is an insult. And the more one listens, the more they have a chance to appreciate all that is happening between the acoustic guitars and Bass dancing around each other throughout. This was a REAL masterpiece and sadly most don't notice and have let slide into oblivion! I did the electric guitar part lesson years ago and it was EXACT from the solo to the last harmonics. YT took it down. I should dig it up from the saved HD from an old PC somewhere and try again. Very much appreciated and glad to see it brought back to life.

Thanks very much KP! You are a discerning listener yourself, and have actually taught the electric part, so Bravo to you for that. I am sorry to hear that it was taken down. I agree that this song, when put together with the other instruments, is a masterpiece. I didn't discover it until around 20 years ago, whereas Lucky Man is one of my all time favourites since the '70s, for its lush and rich harmonies, and the instrumental panning part at the end, brilliant music!

Great choice Dave. Just love the chords and chord progression. Beautiful Mate! 🎤 🎸 🎼 Love to hear you sing and play the entire song. 🤷

Thank you kindly Johnny! Yes, there are some interesting chords in this song for sure! I know that Greg Lake used a flat-pick to play this song, which I have tried, for a louder and crisper sound of course, so this is a different softer way to play it (especially when no picks are nearby!) Cheers and thanks again for your positive support!

You're welcome Dave. 👍🏻 I know what you mean regarding 'louder and crispier'. I pick with the balls of my fingers, and therefore I lose the tonal quality achieved from long fingernails. I'm not a 'flat picker' . . . so one has to find a happy medium. Cheers Mate.
