Do you think supergroups have it easier or harder than most bands? Share your thoughts below!

I would say it’s harder. Higher expectations and it seems there’s a lot of great ideas that get bounced around which sometimes can cause problems.

It depends from which perspective - I always think that they have more to prove and, quite often, don't become as big as the original bands they came from. At the same time, does that matter? :)

much harder

Exponentially Easier. . Elementary! All they need is that one outsider that's never been tied to a spotlight previously.. That elusive-minded sranger that seems has drifted in off The Ether. The one who has so many writing ideas he can't play them or write them down fast enough. Doesn't even have to be in the band, payroll will do... Just don't put him on the spot, or you'll shut the idea factory down. Namely: Me. Anyone interested, Warren knows where to find me... Hahaha (only half joking) Cheers

1:00:35 Back in the day, Fender used that headstock on a Telecaster bass which was essentially this bass, but with a single coil pickup. So Mike Dirnt's signature bass is essentially a Telecaster bass with a P-Bass pickup. Billy Sheehan's "wife" bass is a P-Bass with a '68 Telecaster bass neck on it, inspired by Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge.

Wow, What a small world. My band in the early 90’s played quite a few shows with Electric Love Hogs, Sugar Ray, and Mighty Joe young, Burning Hands at places like Dream Street,Playskool/ San Diego Sports Arena, Soma. It was a great time to be a musician, so many cool bands breaking. We were called Kissing God, had a “developmental deal” with Maverick that never panned out.

What is wrong with a musician saying he misses his family when being on the road for a year? You may hate your job but dude stop sounding jealous, why didn't you chose to do something else if you hate your job so much? Why is that someone else's fault? I'm only 3:41 in, and he's uttered (one of) the keys to the vault. /\ So, the end of a chapter looks imminent & "what am I to do? " Then a chance meeting with someone who offers to help open the next. (eye the flip side! .. they need you too!) Or alternatively, open a whole new book where a mere *potential * chapter exists. Now it's "Hmm, helping hand (chapter) ..or artistically limitless?" One thing's for sure in these scenarios, you'd better make sure you want this. That's the only way you'll keep on your toes, and you'll need *that* to survive Personally I'd prefer the open-book potential chapter, but that's because I have enough history. Whereas someone young, fast... makes all 5 senses pour into their well of *now* and proceeds from there. (Dylan, Tyler, Waters etc.) Off soapebox, !need to watch the rest of the video..😁✌😎
