You did a great job at soldering. The secret is having all connections clean. Using Flux like you did helps the solder to flow better. And you even double wrapped the connections with heat shrink tubing. You will never have any issues with electrical connections if you follow this practice all the time. You did it the right way. To many people just use those "butt connectors" and squeeze them together, than they have issues down the road. Way to go !! A+ on this install.

Agree! As a biker and truck driver I stopped using butt connectors long ago. She did a great job and bike looks great.

I think you made it look easy. I’m going to attempt to change my license plate from horizontal to vertical on my bobber, and I’m stressing about that. Doing what you did is 100X harder than switching a license plate around. Give yourself some major credit here 👍👍

Twisting the wires and applying heat wrap is sufficient. I would say soldering is not required, but optional.

Looks geeat and neat but just noticed the nee blinker is too close to your headlights and this i think could be not seen by other motorists ( as they are have a sleep most of times) İt might not be as safe as the original blinkers.. otherwise it looks great discreet etc etc Please re asses its safety cheers

@@HER6GEARS Thank you! I'm installing the dual rat eyes on the front and rear. Also, thank you for your channel--it has made me a lot braver doing my own work on my bike!

This is soooo emasculating. One of my turn signal bulbs on my own bobber has been on for a week and I don't know how to remove it . . .
