Hey 👋🏽 Miss Judy..Love this recipe..looks so delicious..I noticed you made a corn starch slurry..I never thought of that I’m going to try..I’d like to share my tip with you..I take about half cup of my beans of any kind that I want thickened and I mash them in a bowl with some of the bean water and add back to the pot and boil high and the beans thicken also..and sometimes instead of mashing the beans.. I add a package of McCormicks onion gravy to my beans and it thickens as well with good flavor..just thought I would share❤️😘

Thank you so much for your advice on thickening beans sometime I do this and sometimes I’ll use the cornstarch but your way is really the better way it’s more natural to mash the beans up🤗💕 now I have never heard Lipton onion soup mix but I will try it next time great idea👍

@@cookingwithjudycaldwell6376 Glad I could share too..also if you have a smaller food processor or a mini processor the beans turn out even better because it will mash the skins off the beans better.😋

Why do you put so much salt in your food. Accent is a type of salt. With a nasty after taste.
