Frozen Ghost is one of the most under rated groups in Canadian history. Their first CD was by far their best with some good tunes that followed on later albums. It is such a shame they never made it big in the US. Their music is endless will always be one of the favorite Canadian bands of all time.....their music lives on forever.

Went to school, C.W. Jeffrey's, with Arnold, he played on the football team with my ex-boyfriend, I was also a cheerleader ☺️. He was a really cool guy and played in the band but I never knew the extent of his passion for music. Every now and then I'll hear one of their songs on Q107 and it always gives me a little thrill. 👻

Gosh I remember this song so well back in 1987 when I was first living in California and was alone. I bought the album and must have listened to it hundreds of times (particularly this song) as I drove and explored all around Southern California which was a complete new and very exciting experience having moved from Ireland. Nice memories...27 years ago in a flash!

O ma god, had this song way back in the 90s recorded from a friend in a cassette tape, my friend was a proud owner of hundreds of cassettes of AOR/melodic rock which his uncle sent from settled in Toronto, Canada....Here in India, it's a rare scene actually for this kind of music that time and even now. Cheers from Ghy, India.

Sleep, More so not sleeping, fear, guilt, shame, anger and hate. Those seemed at one time to be Me, but Why do I not seem to be able to do what it takes to stay right in any given situation?, Why am I denying Myself and others?, Guess I won't know. Promises, Promises I made and betrayed. Every time I awake, My heart beats and My mind races relentlessly raging with thoughts of revenge and fear. Somewhat lost but hoping like right now, slowly making it right hopefully, Why do We break promises, Why is the darkness increasing?. Can't erase memories. Comment if You can relate.

Low Self Esteem, Insecurity, Fear. Also let me see if i can word this correctly for example. If two people were Married for say 20 years. Than get Divorced would you say i wish i never met that person??? No you wouldn't because you make choices in the moment and what feels right at the time.Even If you were able to look into the future and know that in 20 years you would be divorced you would still marry that person. None of us would be really living if we lived in Fear of what might happen in the future. It's always easy but pointless to look back and so i wish i hadn't done that but at that time more than likely it was the right choice. I have a tendancy to ramble so i hope i may have made some points. LOL Promises are always made in the moment When the moment is gone, So Is the Promise

SONGS WROTE ARE USUALLY FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, AS MOST VIEWERS HERE ALREADY KNOW. 1986, A GIRL FROM MONTREAL, PQ MOVES TO BC, HAS TO BAD RELATIONSHIPS FOR WHICH 2 CHILDREN ARE CONCEIVED FROM EACH. THE 1ST ONE, 14 YRS OF MENTAL ABUSE, THE 2ND, A DRINKER, A CHILD INSIDE.. THE WOMAN, LIVES ON HER ON AND SLOWLY PULLS HER LIFE TOGETHER AFTER BEING SCARRED BY THE 1 ST MALE; CAREER WAS NOT ON HER MIND BACK THEN BUT BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WAS.

@MrSilicon605 HE TRIES IN VAIN TO MAKE THINGS WORK, BUT MAKES THE MISTAKE OF DOING IT ALL BY HIMSELF AND THUS BECOMES DRAINED MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY (ALSO HOW MANY WOMEN HAVE FELT). THE COUPLE, ONCE VERY MUCH IN LOVE, PART, MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE FEMALES INABILITY TO MOVE FORWARD AND AWAY FROM THE BAD MEMORIES/SCARS FROM HER PAST, WHICH THE MAN HAD NONE, YET BELEIVED IN HER ALL THE WHILE. "WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN"...SO THIS SONG IS VERY APPLICABLE TO COUPLES IN ACTUAL LIFE. "THE MAN WAS ME".....

Why doesn't Johnny get any credits in any of the stuff about this band? I think his abilities are actually way above this pop commercial type of 80's stuff. Not saying anything about the quality of this song. His style of playing is just way more creative than this.
@mariecullison4227

A band is not a singer. a band is a combination of talented artists coming together to create beautiful music. He was not, in fact the brains of the band. I'm sorry but Johnny is my guitar teacher. I'm not saying he is the brains, but all the talent comes together to create it. He didn't write all their songs. They took that song, and made it music. Made it what it is right now. So think about that next time you credit one person in the band.
