I totally used to shop because I was bored and finding that trigger and changing the behavior helped! Loved this, great tips ❤️

I’d highly recommend trying a no buy month, mine has turned into a no buy year because I enjoy it so much it’s absolutely changed my mindset and I was a shopaholic at the start of the year I am now so frugal, and I’m saving finally!

Billing myself is the only way that I can save. As soon as that money has gone to my savings it feels like it never existed and I only ever spend the money that is left. 👍🏼

I create a wish list on my phone and if i see something (aka when "looking" online on my laptop at night lol) I check my wish list and ask myself whether I would give up the wish list item for the impulse item. That stops me from impulse buying as I don't want the impulse purchase more than my wish list item.

Also, always check cash back sites when changing utilities, insurance etc. I managed to save over £100 on car insurance by shopping around & then received £50 cash back on top of that!

Since you have been talking about Vinted, I have now joined and decided that I can only make a purchase with money I make selling my clothes! So I can update my wardrobe at NO Cost!! Thanks Lara

I called O2 today to pay off my handset and was told that I can now have a much cheaper tariff on a sim only plan. I now pay £10 a month instead of £21.56 and I have more data within that. I wish I’d done it sooner! I also changed my gas and electric to a cheaper tariff as I was on a standard tariff. So all in all a good day. 👍🏻

@@mariaanna1421 Thats a good deal too. Tesco mobile piggyback off the O2 network as do Sky. There are definitely some good deals out there. I got what suited me so a good result all round. 😁

Just want to say that it's always worth working out the difference between buying a phone outright & going SIM only, and having the same phone on contract. I was looking at getting an Iphone 12 mini & when I actually worked out the difference in costs it would've ultimately cost me £50 more overall to buy the phone and go SIM only (and this was with a very modest £9 monthly SIM cost), so it's not always the cheaper option. Definitely do the maths!
