Just wanna say, you are bloody amazing. Though this was posted some time ago, I respect your strength and character because you can stand up for yourself in difficult situations. Few people can say that about themselves and you are really inspiring to me.

This is my favorite video. I've watched most of them so far. I love watching your process/transition videos. I'm actually going to be starting my process here in a few days (by process I mean starting T not just coming out and stuff) you're very inspirational. I'm watching your videos back to back that's why I'm at the beginning of where you actually are now. I thank men like you for showing me (the pre pubescent man) that my body as at the other side no matter how long the progress. Thank you.

I just want to thank you for your channel (for the videos from both you and your wife). I am from South Africa and you have managed to help me all the way here by spending time making these videos. I really appreciate it :) I am post op (top surgery) and pre-T. I'm scared to start T is because I'm in a smallish software development company (30 people) and I have been there for 5 years now. It's really difficult when you have to come out to everyone in such a small personal working environment.

Hey dude. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this stuff, but of course as we all know, it was inevitable. I truly do understand the type of people you're dealing with and you're right, it's tough. You also hit the nail on the head when you said you have to "wear it" everyday. Some of my customers could be at a job for 6 months before I see them again and it's just awkward every time. I also, after a month, have co-workers who won't speak to me at all. It's a sad reality, but when all of the disco

It's hard when your voice takes forever to drop... it seems like thats such an identifying factor. I didn't deal with it very well, honestly. I was very discouraged for a long time. Finally, between month 8 and 10 I had a decent drop. All I can say is try to be patient, it sucks but your voice will eventually change. Good luck man - I know your pain. I you have time check out my one year video - you'll be able to see where my voice got to....it just took time!

Hello, thanks for this vid, I think you have good instincts and you know you are handling it the right way for you. What kills me is that you have to (and I think you do unfortunately) take responsibility for dealing with people's response to difference with fear. Confronting fear with compassion and authenticity gives us all grey hair, but at least it makes your life meaningful and bigger than you.

PS: Your voice is very fine, your posture is even better, your looks are terrific and for those who cannot deal with sense & sensibility, we can always use some dense & densibility to put things straight. The great grey hair makes you even more handsome. The chestpain is unacceptable. Too much concern is an overburden. So instead of you being concerned at your own company, hang it lose and let others be concerned. Business as usual. There is no need to change anything else, just be well! Best!

6th part: Physical appearance and pro-active attitude are 2 key elements that bring us together. Idea is to invite a few FTM guys to join us in a think-tank endeavor to help others so to become (at least) happier in a peaceful environment. There may be some natural differences, as we commenced with a small group of pros (docs, lawyers, judges, entrepreneurs, diplomats, etc), thus using our influence to drafting legislation, publishing articles, creating jurisprudence or funding research.
@FernandoGSandoval

5th part: It would be great to have a selected group of UK/US/Canadian FTM in our Outlaw (NGO’s name) group to set some discussions as the local Brazilian and LatAm experience with FTM, MTF, etc, have struggled and still remain living in ghetto-like situations . Enhancing visibility, life quality, some key rights, career perspectives, could be vital tools to overcome prejudice. Noticeably the boy-next-door gay posture is very similar to FTM trans in few countries but NOT in other places.

2nd part: The citizenships/heritage becomes relevant for the mix of backgrounds (I’m ¼ Italian, ¼ Spaniard, ¼ Dutch and ¼ Portuguese of Jewish ascendance, and holder of a Brazilian, Italian and Swiss citizenships) cultural and professional formation. So that languages and ability to work in multiple jurisdictions are no obstacles. During years, we have dedicated time for legal rights, professional and medical/psychiatric assistance to gay men only.

(cut off, of course!)...when all of the discomfort and awkwardness is said and done, it will get easier. Just hang in there man, and in the meantime, be happy your business partner has decided to stick it out. It's a foundation to build from, ya know?

It's still hard at work, and I think it will be for a very long time. I'm pretty much the token trans person around there so I'm an easy target for those who chose to be hateful. With that being said though, there have been many people that have become more accepting because of me being willing to be out. So I guess it's worth it.

Unfortunately this stuff (even now) is still so new that those who are transitioning are pretty much pioneers of a new age so there's no instruction manual. We have to just carve a new path, come up with new lingo and just be as authentic as possible. I still haven't seen any hurricanes blamed on the trans community yet though, so I think the gay people still get to own the weather for now. ;-)
