Nice job! I have to do this in the next few weeks. This has been the diy solution when replacing the fuel pump since I can remember. I remember reading about the "trap door mod" on ls1tech back in 03,04

Nice job! I have to do something similar for my 99 Olds 88, but first I have to figure out the dimensions.

But I didn't. FInally got a pressure gauge and fuel pump and pressure regulator were good 40-45 no leaking, even with the car trying to run spitting an dbackfiriing. Mechanic says it might be the crank positioning sensor. No check engine??? They do that, he said. So we'll see. I was alll set to cut up the back seat floor panel when the UPS truck arrived with the pressure gauge.

Might do this my self, but I'd get some seam sealer or silicone if you want it to be easy to remove

No matter what she tells you size does matter lolololololol Take your time mang Your doing and experiencing what everybody does when experimenting and modding What about just clocking the log flanges slightly??? .48 is really small when considering actual air flo and volume out of each side of the motor U may peak to early (see first note. lolololol) and not be able to let it breathe Anywho U da man It’s all a learning curve Peace Dan
