Dominican fufu is made from green plantains

@@ibkristykat yes. They both are in the banana family. Bananas can be eating raw but plantains have to be cooked.

I’m Cuban straight from Cuba and my mom just told me that The people in cuba make it from the green bananas. Obviously not all make it this way but she grew up there and says a lot of people made it so if you see green bananas you can try it!
