Ibis is not gimbal mode. It's supposed to remove micro jitters not smooth out your film.

The "medium format feel ", sorry but alle KZitemrs just repeat them self. The 110/2 is a 86/1,6 equivalents so say a R5 with RF 85/1,2 give more of "that feel ". The magic happens once you adapt say a 50/1,2, then it's like a 40/1 and a true medium format feel and there is nothing like it in the 35 mm space:) But anyway a good video 😊

Greetings, I am between theS1H and the GFX 100s for videography especially. Although the S1H is ideal for video, I cant get over the image quality of the GFX 100s. Is there anything you feel is missing with the video side of the Fuji? Other than a micro HDMI and a small battery, I cant think of much reason not to go with the Fuji. thoughts?
@connormccaskill
3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate! My gut reaction would be to tell you to go with the S1H if video/filmmaking is your primary. The GFX lacks exposure tools and pro video settings in camera, whereas the S1H seems to be built with video as the main focus. Rent both and see which one fits you better :)

Interesting move here... kinda more formal, but still the dude vibe. Even lighting and background set give a different vibe... I think this might have that more mainstream vibe that will work for this channel 🤔🤔🤔 I really liked it!

On the photographic side, the 4:3 aspect ratio changes compositions in significant ways, your subject fills the frame more than 3:2. That’s where a lot of the feeling of presence comes from, but no one seems to talk about this. The 32-64 has always struggled with autofocus by the way, one of the clunkiest lenses in the lineup mechanically (tho fine optically). And the argument can be made that the 110 is among the very best portrait lenses ever designed. Sprinkle in a little 16bit color with all those megapixels and you have a very fine image making tool. Handling? That’s another story. Makes me miss my D850. They still haven’t decided to embrace pro style button quality and layout. Back button focus is a thing Fujifilm. (Just saying). So yes quirky *but* worth it for the image size and quality at a fraction of the $ of other 100 megapixel alternatives.

Switched from canon to Fuji x-t4 plus 16-55 and the GFX100s plus 32-64 /100-200 for stills.. one word Awesome!! The nipple of the joystick not an issue for me, use in combo with thumb dial and menu button.

Woah what?? @3:24 “the thing with Fuji you have to take your time with each lens and set your autofocus up for that lens” - How do you set autofocus up for each lens? I’ve never heard anyone say that on YT re: Fuji, like ever! Please show us how man! I’m amazed to learn this is a thing.
@connormccaskill

basically all I mean by that is Fuji's AF isn't quite as good as Canon or Sony, so it's worth experimenting with AF settings for your lenses to get the best results.
